Shan Interiors is an interior design studio based in Connecticut, led by Shaheen Choonavala.

While the studio has a particular soft spot for older homes, every project carries a few consistent threads: clean, confident lines, and rooms built up in layers — texture over texture, old pieces next to new ones. The result is a home that feels lived-in and easy day to day, but that also rises to the occasion when it's full of people.

Shaheen spent her childhood between Switzerland and Hong Kong before New York and Connecticut became home — and stayed home, for the last thirty years.
